Sound explanation

Sound, Sound is a weird phenomenon that can be strange at some times, like when it changes the pitch and how fast it goes in different temperatures.

Sound works in many different ways. The first thing that happens is that an object has to vibrate or move. Then the object pushes the air molecules and they bump into each other sending waves of sound. These waves travel 324 m/s. they then locate an animal or human ear and go into the ear, goes to the eardrum makes the eardrum vibrate and sends a clear electrical signal into the nervous system system and goes to the brain.

Sound can change very easily It depends on frequency, the temperature and if there is air around you. The frequency changes because of the pitch or how high or low the sound is. The temperature changes how fast sound goes. If it is -55 oC sound would go slower than if it was 55 oC. For sound to travel it needs air, so in space there is no sound because there is no air.

Did you know that you can break the speed of sound? Its when an object or vehicle travels faster than the speed of sound so the sound waves catch up to one another breaking the speed of sound.

Sound is a weird thing it can change so fast and so little and you can break the speed of sound.
