An 8.2 earthquake hit Chile making small landslides and a tsunami warning. Four men and one woman died, two had heart attack and 3 got crushed. The tsunami hit along the shore for hundreds of kilometers. It was a 7-foot tsunami with 2 metre waves before and after. After 15 hours it got to NZ and we felt a small amount of the 8.2 earthquake.

The earthquake was so strong that it got to Bolivia’s capital about 470 km away and was still at 4.5! 10 aftershocks minimum came in the first hour and one was 6.2. More aftershocks came but could not be found in strength so it could have been higher or lower than the highest recorded. By Braeden
